Я наконец-то нашла время и желание поделиться с вами впечатлениями, наблюдениями и выводами от моего первого посещения королевства Тайланд, а именно островов Пхукет и Пхи-Пхи.

Когда ехать:

Ездили мы с конце октября и по погодным условиям, это еще "не сезон", возможен дождь, шторм и резкая перемена погоды. В нашем случае так и случилось, на 2-ой день пребывания и в последующие 6 дней, 2 раза в день стабильно шел дождь и один раз случился даже шторм, от чего море оставалось грязным еще пару дней. По этой причине, если вы хотите быть уверены на 100% в солнечных днях и стабильной погоде, советую вам посетить Таиланд зимой.

I finally found the time and inspiration to share with you my impressions, observations and conclusions from my first visit to the Kingdom of Thailand namely the islands of Phuket and Phi Phi.

WHEN TO GO:

We were traveling since the end of October and according to weather conditions, it is still "not the season", rain, storm and sudden weather changes are possible. In our case, this happened, on the 2nd day of our stay and for the next 6 days, it rained steadily 2 times a day and once there was even a storm, which left the sea dirty for another couple of days.

If you want to be 100% sure of sunny days and stable weather, I advise you to visit Thailand in winter.

Где остановиться:

На Пхукете великое множесто отелей и аппартаментов на любой вкус и бюджет. Остров популярен уже много лет, особенно у русскоговорящих туристов и, к сожалению, это негативно отразилось на его аутентичности, но в то же время, дало толчок к развитию инфраструктуры и клиентоориентированности. Как результат, ты чувствуешь себя комфортно, даже без знания базового английского, ведь местные жители неплохо говорят по-русски.

Мы остановились в отеле Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara 4* в 5 минутах от пляжа Карон. Выбрали мы эту локацию по нескольким причинам: близость к пляжу и к различным уличным кафе, качество пляжа и цена. С отелем определялись достаточно долго, в итоге сделали выбор в пользу красивого вида и отсутствия бара-ресторана в отеле, т.к. в Таиланде очень вкусная и недорогая уличная еда. У нас был огромный номер с 2-мя спальнями и кухней на 11 этаже. За 7 дней мы заплатили около 400 $ с учетом долпаты за sea view.

WHERE TO STAY:

Phuket has plenty of hotels and apartments for any taste and budget. The island has been popular for many years, especially among Russian-speaking tourists and, unfortunately, this negatively affected it's authenticity, but at the same time, it gave an impulse to develop infrastructure and good customer service. As a result, you feel comfortable, even without basic English skills, because the locals speak Russian well.

We stayed in Phuket at the Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara 4* hotel, 5 minutes from Karon Beach. We chose this location for several reasons: proximity to the beach and to various outdoor cafes, the quality of the beach and the price. We decided on the hotel for a long time, as a result, we made a choice in favor of a beautiful view and the absence of a bar-restaurant in the hotel, because in Thailand there is very tasty and inexpensive street food. We had a huge room with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen on the 11th floor. In 7 days, we paid about $ 400, including an additional fee for the sea view.

Один из бесспорных плюсов Таилнада - это относительно дешевые и вкусные морепродукты. Уверена, что для вас, как и для меня, еда занимает не последнее место при выборе страны для отдыха.

За неделю пребывания на Пхукете, я насладилась практически всеми морскими жителями, в том числе лобстером, который к слову сказать, в Египте был вкуснее. Рядом с нашей гостиницей мы нашли неплохое кафе, называется "Ann restraurant" и ужинали в нем почти каждый день. Соотношение цена/качество лучшее вблизи пляжа Карон.

Возможно поэтому, каждый вечер ресторан был полон людей.

Морепродукты на углях от раза к разу могут отличаться, но не сильно.

Нам больше всего понравились ракушки, кальмары, осьминоги и, конечно же устрицы. Том Ям из этого ресторанчика оказался самым вкусным в моей жизни. Попробуйте обязательно. Также мне понравилось блюдо из жаренных овощей и китайских грибов, ну и жареный рис в ананасе тоже был очень хорош. Из напитков, моим фаворитом стал свежевыжатый сок из маракуйи.

One of the indisputable advantages of Thailand is relatively cheap and delicious seafood. I am sure that for you, as for me, food is very important when you choosing what country to visit.

During one week in Phuket, I enjoyed almost all the marine inhabitants, including lobster, which taste, by the way, was better in Egypt. Next to our hotel we found a nice cafe called "Ann restaurant" and had dinner there almost every day. The price/quality ratio is the best nearby to Karon beach. Perhaps that's why the restaurant was full of people every night.

The taste of the seafood on coals may vary from time to time, but not much. Our favourite were the shells, squid, octopus and, of course, oysters the most. Tom Yam from this restaurant turned out to be the most delicious in my life. Be sure to try it. I also liked the dish of fried vegetables and Chinese mushrooms, and the fried rice in pineapple was also very good. Speaking of drinks, my favorite was freshly squeezed passion fruit juice.

Про пляжи:

Как я уже упомянула, мы остановились в отеле рядом с Карон beach. И как же я рада, что мы выбрали именно этот пляж. Он замечательный! Чистый, оборудован шезлонгами, очень удобный заход в воду, не слишком длинный, но и не резкий. Береговая линия очень обширная, через дорогу магазины и кафе.

Мы ездили посмотреть Патонг beach и были разочарованы: очень длинный заход в воду, и как следствие невозможно поймать волну, по этой же причине вода более грязная.

ABOUT BEACHES:

As I mentioned earlier, we stayed at a hotel near Karon beach. And I'm so happy that we chose this particular beach. He's wonderful! Clean, equipped with sun loungers, very convenient entry into the water, not too long, but also not sharp. The coastline is very extensive, there are shops and cafes across the street.

We went to see Patong beach and were disappointed: it is a very long entry into the water, and as a result it is impossible to catch a wave, for the same reason the water is dirtier.

Что посмотреть на Пхукете:

Если вы приезжаете на Пхукет на короткий промежуток времени советую посетить два самых живописных и священных места на острове: Храмовый комплекс Ват Чалонг и Статую Большого Будды. При покупке тура их обязательно включают в бесплатную экскурсию.

Храмовый комплекс Ват Чалонг находится в южной части острова и датируется 1837 годом. На территории расположены несколько сооружений: ступа, убосот, вихара, кути, и зал прощания. Все они окружены садом и деревьями, что придает комплексу еще более красивый вид. На сегодняшний день является основным местом паломничества тайцев на острове. При посещении каждого строения обязательно снимать обувь, прикрыть плечи и колени.

Статуя Большого Будды - третья по высоте статуя Будды в Тайланеде. Высота 45 метров, покрыта бирманским белым мрамором. Благодаря тому, что Будда стоит на высокой горе, его можно наблюдать из разных частей острова. Также здесь открывается прекрасный панорамный вид на Пхукет с высоты птичьего полета. Обязательно к посещению, для тех, кто желает прочувствовать на себе вайб буддийского учения и погрузиться в атмосферу острова. Также на этой территории распологаются места для молитв и пожертвований.

WHAT TO SEE IN PHUKET:

If you come to Phuket for a short period of time, I advise you to visit two of the most picturesque and sacred places on the island: the Wat Chalong Temple Complex and the Statue of the Great Buddha. When buying a tour, they must be included in the free tour.

Wat Chalong Temple complex is located in the southern part of the island and dates back to 1837. There are several buildings on the territory: stupa, ubosot, vihara, kuti, and the farewell hall. All of them are surrounded by a garden and trees, which gives the complex an even more beautiful view. Today it is the main place of pilgrimage for Thais on the island. When visiting each building, it is necessary to take off your shoes, cover your shoulders and knees.

The Big Buddha Statue is the third tallest Buddha statue in Thailand. The height is 45 meters, covered with Burmese white marble. Due to the fact that the Buddha stands on a high mountain, he can be observed from different parts of the island. There is also a wonderful panoramic bird's-eye view of Phuket. A must-visit, for those who want to experience the vibe of Buddhist teachings and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the island. There are also places for prayers and donations on this territory.
